The single Link CATx DVI-D extender is a very cost efficient solution to overcome the 5m distance limitation of the DVI specification. It uses just one simple CATx cable to extend high resolution DVI-D video over distances up to 50m. Crystal clear video with a 1920 x 1200 at 60Hz is supplied up to 20m without losses using special cables.
The installation is easy. Just connect the DVI-D output of your PC with the local unit and your display with the remote unit. Next connect both units with the CATx link cable and power them up. Turning on the PC and display allows you to work just like you are used to it with a direct connection. With their DDC read capability, true EDID information is received from the attached display to guarantee optimum plug-and-play support.
With its compact and robust design this extender set is ideal for use also in conference rooms or with workstations in office and industrial environments.
