Extend HDMI over IP
This attractively priced IP streaming solution multicasts HDMI® video and audio to a nearly unlimited number of screens on a network. You need just one transmitter and one receiver for each screen.

Easy integration
MediaCento IPX PoE is ideal for distributing digital signage content or other HD video and audio across an Ethernet network. Because the transmitter and receivers install directly into your existing LAN infrastructure, integration is easy. There's no need to run expensive dedicated links from a back room to digital signage in lobbies.

Plug-and-play setup
There's no need to configure any IP settings (although more experienced users can do that if needed). Simply use rotary switches to set the transmitter and receivers to the same multicast channel and all IP multicasting settings are automatically configured; then just connect your source, your display(s), and a network switch. It's ready to go!

Signals that go for kilometres
The extender transmits up to 100 m per link, but goes even longer when additional network switches are added to the mix. You can even use fiber with media converters to go several kilometers if needed. Its signal is completely digital from end to end, so your digital content is never compromised.

Lossless compression for HD extension.
MediaCento IPX PoE features IGMP support and packetizes signals so all your HD source content can be delivered anywhere you want over Ethernet wiring.

Visually lossless compression
Featuring visually lossless compression, the MediaCento IPX PoE units transmit broadcast-quality video and audio, and support Full 1080p resolution no matter what the distance or the number of screens, as well as all common PC resolutions (XGA, SXGA, UXGA, WSXGA) up to 1920 x 1200 at 60 Hz.

Optimal PC-to-screen performance
MediaCento features EDID copy function and is HDCP-compliant.

RS-232 support
MediaCento IPX PoE also supports RS-232 for configuration and control, and for extending bidirectional control signals. Use this serial link to switch screens on or off.

PoE powered
The MediaCento IPX PoE series can be powered using standard PoE network technology. Using a PoE network switch completely eliminates the need for external power supplies making the installation even easier.

Secure connectors
MediaCento products come with lockable power and HDMI connectors for increased reliability.

Many ways to configure
MediaCento IPX PoE can be configured to match three application types. The unicast mode is ideal for point-to-point extensions, use the Multicast mode for distributing content to many screens at different locations, or the video wall mode to create video wall arrays with up to 8x8 screen arrays. From one transmitter, you can have 16 different multicast groups to multiple receivers in multicast mode. Choosing the matching mode is easy, but you can also indicate your desired mode with your order, to receive pre-configured units.

Multicast video to screens in a video wall setup
Assign source video to any screen in a video wall. The MediaCento IPX PoE Multicast system supports customizable monitor array sizes for any video wall setup or application. Configure a wall for multiple rows and columns. You just need one transmitter and up to 64 receivers for an 8 x 8 wall. Each receiver scales and outputs the correct part of the picture for its video wall display.

Save time and money with our comfortable Media Cento IPX kits. The kits include a transmitter, 2, 4 or 8 receivers, a network switch that is tested and guaranteed to work with MediaCento IPX, and locking HDMI cables. The network switch is pre-configured with all required multicast and IP settings. The switch also offers full SNMP management plus Web-based management, support for VLAN and QoS, and support for IEEE 802.3af PoE port-based network access control. Also the kits are easily expandable by adding more transmitter, receivers through additional network switch ports.
